Common Questions Asked about CACI
Q: How many CACI Treatments will I need?
Results are visible after the very first treatment, but a course of ten treatments is generally recommended. A monthly top up treatment is recommended to maintain results.
Q: What is CACI Microcurrent Therapy?
Microcurrent therapy was originally developed as a medical application to treat facial palsy and muscle tone was restored by applying tiny micro-current electrical impulses to the affected muscles. Today this proven technology is now available in thousands of aesthetic clinics as a painless cosmetic treatment and is commonly referred to as “facial toning” or “the non surgical face lift”. During each 1hour treatment session all 32 facial muscles are gently manipulated and re-educated by a trained specialist using a series of precise movements. Soft cotton tipped collagen buds are used on the face to transmit the micro-current energy to the facial muscles to restore tone and elasticity.
Q: What does the CACI treatment involve?
The beauty consultant will evaluate your skin type, review your expectations, and your desired results. The best course of treatment for you will then be determined. Results may vary depending on skin type, age and the number of treatments you will require.
Q: What will my recovery be like?
Caci treatments are so gentle on the skin, there is no interruption in your lifestyle. After your treatment, you will see exciting improvements in how your skin looks and feels. Over a period of a few months, the skin rejuvenation and laser toning treatments can help restore what nature has diminished. You can watch as your body gradually rebuilds from the inside and restores a more youthful appearance to your face.
Q: Is CACI for me?
This treatment is especially effective for treating skin around the eyes as well as being one of the best non evasive anti aging facials for combating and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also useful for patients with acne scarring, blemishes, sun damaged, dry and dehydrated, problematic and oily skin.
Q: Can I have fillers along side Caci Treatments?
Having a filler treatment following your CACI course will be fine. You need to allow about 3-4 weeks between the filler treatment and the CACI, which will give the filler time to settle. We treat many clients at Urban Spa with Caci tfacials who have wrinkle relaxing and fillers, and we find that the two complement each other well. (Please ensure you inform your therapist before you have the treatment.)
Q: A course of 10 CACI treatments is recommended - can I have them weekly?
To get the best results we recommend you have your 10 treatments completed within 4 weeks for e.g. 3 in week one, 3 in week two, 2 in week three and the last 2 in week four, this will ensure you have the boost and initial injection of skin and muscle stimulation.
